This month I am working on a short documentary movie project with Mount Albert artist Craig Humberstone. Craig has been working on a series of paintings on slate in preparation for his exhibition at Highwic (in Newmarket, Auckland) later in the month. I have been filming progress on the last of the paintings and plan to get footage of the exhibition installation, the opening night and hopefully lots of ''sold'' stickers appearing on the paintings! We are also considering the possibility of an artistic collaboration where we hope to come up with a theme that we can both use as inspiration for new works, i.e. a painting and a guitar composition. If successful, this could provide material for another short film.
Update 2015 : This project is on hold for the time being as other work has to take priority.
