The Selwyn Recital has been released via various digital platforms including Spotify. The album includes a re-take of Finchdean ten years on from its first recording on Lateral Lines and a more recent work, the Selwyn River Suite written in memory of my father and inspired by Canterbury New Zealand's Waimakariri River (Selwyn River). The music attempts to depict contrasting moments in the river's progress from alpine peaks to Canterbury Plains. However, at the time of writing I could not imagine the 'red warning' level of rainfall currently being experienced by NZ Cantabrians!
