This is a long-overdue update thanks to the disruption of COVID-19 variants and other challenges. The lengthy lockdown of 2021-2022 in New Zealand happened to coincide precisely with a significant personal family loss, meaning it was far from an ideal time for music making. It was not possible to fully embrace the free time to make great creative strides. However, more recently as we approach the end of another year, I've begun looking at possible projects and felt more like including music in my routine. Concerts are still not really viable and for the time being my focus will be on making sound recordings with the possibility of future new albums. The precise form they will take remains to be seen and will depend to an extent on available funding. So this update is just to let everyone know I'm still alive and, despite the recent, long absence from the music scene, I haven't completely disappeared off the face of the earth. Let's hope, all going well, things can start getting back on track more in 2023!
